Tanner's Take: Halloween and Baseball
The following blog featuring former Dartmouth standout Tanner Glass appeared October 31 on the Florida Panthers Web site.
Tanner Glass, who gained a loyal following last year both as a
Panther and Rochester American with his gritty, physical play, will
provide periodic updates during the season on life as a
professional hockey player.
Glass split his time last season between the NHL and American
Hockey League, playing in 43 games with the Amerks and 41 with the
Panthers.

After a tough start to the season we came out of this past weekend
with our first win, against Quad City. We've played some good
hockey at stretches this season but just hadn't been able to put it
together for a full game. “Becks” played really well in
goal and we were able to outscore them in the third for our first
win. I think this win is one we need to build on and one that our
young players can take pride in.
Halloween is upon us and I'm getting pretty excited about it. What
a great holiday! As a kid I absolutely loved it and not much has
changed. I remember being a Ninja Turtle for three years straight.
Rafael every time, he was the man. I grew up in a really small town
so the goal was always to hit every house in town and I think for a
few years there we actually did it. I think the boys on our team
are pretty excited about it as well..
