WILKES-BARRE TWP. -- While Dennis Bonvie and Alain Nasreddine have played 28 years in the AHL between them, rookie Nick Johnson has spent just 63 days in the league.

But Johnson, who finished his senior season at Dartmouth in March, said he's been around long enough to appreciate the position the Penguins are in as they prepare for the Calder Cup finals.

"You don't get an opportunity like this but maybe once every 10 years," he said. "It's something to be cherished. We have to make sure we're as ready as possible. Yeah, it's different for Naz and Bones, veteran guys, but I think everyone in the room, even the young guys, know this is something that doesn't come around every day."
