LOWELL, Mass. -- After an overtime loss to the Flyers Tuesday, Rangers coach Tom Renney said Sean Avery was moved to center because no one with the Wolf Pack was "lights-out" ready for promotion.

Perhaps it would be a stretch to have summoned Mike Ouellette, but not off what the Dartmouth grad did Wednesday.

Twelve days after his first two-goal game in the AHL, Ouellette recorded his first hat trick as the Pack scored the final six goals in an 8-2 victory that eliminated Lowell from the playoffs.
