Feature: Freshman Makes His Mark
The following feature article on Dartmouth forward Kyle Reeds appeared in the January 19 issue of The Valley News.

Hanover -- Living in an NHL city, with a former NHL player as a father, Kyle Reeds wanted the straight poop last year on making it to the NHL if he chose to attend Dartmouth.
So Reeds, a native of St. Louis, consulted an NHL player. St. Louis, Dartmouth -- any guess on whom that consultant might be?
The exact conversation between St. Louis Blues winger Lee Stempniak -- Big Green Class of 2005 -- and Reeds is lost to history, but it played a prominent role in the freshman's decision to head to Hanover.
