Jones' Destination is Denver
DENVER -- The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today
that it has recalled former Dartmouth forward David Jones from the
Lake Erie Monsters, the team's American Hockey League
affiliate.
Jones, 23, Colorado's eighth selection (288th overall) in the 2003
Entry Draft, arrives for his second stint with the Avalanche this
season as the Monsters' second-leading scorer with 22 points
(9g/13a) in 36 games played. He leads the Monsters in power play
goals with eight. Jones leaves Lake Erie having tallied points in
each of his last five games (2g/5a).
