Przepiorka Bound for Sweden

Former Dartmouth forward Eric Przepiorka has signed a contract to play for Olofströms IK (Sweden) for the 2008-09 season. Przepiorka spent the 2007-08 season with the Youngstown Steelhounds of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Przepiorka compiled 25 goals, including 10 power-play tallies, and 42 assists for the Steelhounds in 2007-08. The team's second-leading scorer with 67 points, Przepiorka was plus-16 in 61 regular-season contests.

A native of Grosse Point Woods, Michigan, Przepiorka was a four-year letterwinner with the Big Green. He participated in 132 career contests, amassing 39 goals and 63 assists from 2002 through 2006.

After concluding his collegiate career, Przepiorka played professionally for Florida Everblades (2005-06), Utah Grizzlies (2006-07) and Johnstown Chiefs (2006-07) of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), before joining Youngstown last season.
