Stempniak Finding Comfort Zone
The following article featuring former Dartmouth standout Lee Stempniak appeared December 11 on the Toronto Globe and Mail Web site.

The first time Toronto Maple Leafs forward Lee Stempniak watched
his hometown Buffalo Sabres live and in person, an X marked the
spot.
About the only recollection Stempniak, who grew up in nearby West
Seneca, has of his first Sabres game was that his minor hockey team
took to the ice at the soon-to-be demolished Memorial Auditorium
between periods and that he had a giant X taped on the top of his
helmet.
"I was only 7 at the time," Stempniak remembered. "We were sitting
way up top. So my father put a big X on the top of my helmet, so he
could tell which one I was."
