It’s not uncommon for an ECAC Hockey team to travel north to
Canada for an exhibition game or two. It is uncommon for one to
travel across the Atlantic Ocean.
That’s exactly what Dartmouth will do beginning Wednesday,
when it embarks on a 10-day trip to Copenhagen, Denmark and
Stockholm, Sweden, that will include four exhibition games and
plenty of site seeing.
Head coach Bob Gaudet, who’s been planning the trip for the
better part of a decade, initially thought sightseeing would
dominate the trip. But after a start that sees his team sitting in
third in the league, a little more hockey might be in order.
