Stempniak Tries to Get Touch Back on Offense

LOS ANGELES — Five goals and 12 points in five preseason
games had Lee Stempniak feeling as if he could be headed for a big
year.
If anything, it could be something resembling his breakout
27-goal, 52-point 2006-07 campaign.
Until this week, Stempniak's offensive game hasn't translated to
the regular season. But there have been signs that the winger is
emerging from his early-season slumber.
