Brandon Harrington has played in 57 games during his four years at
Dartmouth, notching six points. Harrington graduated from Lourdes
High School in Minnesota where he played in four Minnesota Class A
State tournaments. He was named honorable mention All-State by the
Associated Press and a St. Paul Pioneer Press as a freshman and was
a Pioneer Press honorable mention as a sophomore. He earned letters
in both hockey and baseball and both teams were section champions.
While at Dartmouth he has been a key member of the Big Green,
helping build stability and depth in the lineup. He scored his
first collegiate goal on Jan. 20, 2006 against Sacred Heart and
last season he scored against Cornell in the ECAC playoffs, helping
Dartmouth win Game Two to force a third and deciding game.
“Brandon is a big, strong, powerful forward and he’s
been a good guy to have in our program,” said head coach Bob
Gaudet. “He really competes and can shoot the puck
offensively. He’s scored several goals for us on strong
wrists and getting the puck to the net, he’s got a heavy shot
but a hard shot that’s able to break through goaltenders.
Brandon’s worked really hard at his complete game and
I’ve been impressed with how good his attitude has always
been and he just wants to help the team in whatever way he
can.”
