Boucher Nets Monthly Award, Again
ROCHESTER, MI -- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced
Wednesday that Fort Wayne goaltender Nick Boucher, who played at
Dartmouth, has been named the Southern Sports Supply IHL
Goaltender of the Month for December. Boucher also earned the award
in the month of November.
Boucher finished the month of December on an impressive six
game winning streak. He completed the month with a 6-1-0-0 record,
a 2.49 goals against average and a .911 save percentage. So far
this season, Boucher has only lost on home ice once, giving him an
overall record of 9-1-0-1. The 27 year-old Cobble Hill,
British Columbia native currently leads all IHL goaltenders in save
percentage (.919) and goals against average (2.27).
Other goaltenders nominated for the Southern Sports Supply IHL
Goaltender of the Month include: Bloomington's Loic Lacasse,
Flint's Eric Marvin, Kalamazoo's Jeremy Symington, Muskegon's Issac
Reichmuth and Port Huron's Marty Magers.
