Annual Skate with Big Green Set for December 2
HANOVER, N.H. - The annual Skate with the Big Green presented by
White River Toyota will take place on Sunday, Dec. 2 at Thompson
Arena with the Dartmouth men's hockey team. Skate with the Big
Green is a free event and is open to the public.
The Big Green will hold an open practice from 2:00 to 2:30 pm and
invites fans to join them on the ice from 2:30-3:30 pm.
Dartmouth is also including an additional Toy Drive for the
Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) at the Skate. People are
encouraged to bring any unwrapped toys with them, as the team will
be making a special trip to CHaD during the holiday season.
"These type of events are a big part of our involvement with the
community," said senior captain Nick Johnson. "It's more than just
hockey for our team, it's about getting involved."
