Boucher Earns IHL Weekly Honor
ROCHESTER, MI -- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced
Monday Fort Wayne goaltender Nick Boucher, who played at
Dartmouth, has been named the Southern Sports Supply IHL
Goaltender of the Week for the period ending Sunday, December
23.
Boucher continues his dominance between the pipes posting a 2-0-0-0
record for the Komets. He is also the current IHL Goaltender of the
Month for November. Boucher had 62 saves on 66 shots faced, giving
him a 2.00 goals against average. Boucher has a IHL leading GAA
at 2.17. He has a .939 save percentage in the two games he
played, bringing his season total .922.
Other goaltenders nominated for the Southern Sports Supply IHL
Goaltender of the Week include: Flint's Eric Marvin, Kalamazoo's
Brad Smith, Muskegon's Clayton Pool and Port Huron's Larry
Sterling.
