Glass Gets Call from Panthers
SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach
Jacques Martin announced today that former Dartmouth forward Tanner
Glass and center Stefan Meyer have been recalled from
Rochester (AHL).
Glass, 23, will be making his first career call-up to the Panthers.
Glass has recorded two goals and two assists in 16 games for
Rochester (AHL). The Regina, Saskatchewan native appeared in one
preseason game for Florida.
Meyer, 22, made his NHL debut on Oct. 24 against Philadelphia in
the Cats 4-3 victory at the BankAtlantic Center. In 14 games with
Rochester this season, Meyer has registered nine points (4-5-9).
The Medicine Hat, Alberta native was originally drafted by the
Panthers with their fifth choice (55th overall) in the 2003 NHL
Entry Draft.
Both Meyer and Glass will be in Sunrise, Fla. tonight and are
eligible to play when the Panthers take on the Carolina Hurricanes
at 7:30 p.m. The game can be seen nationally on VERSUS and heard
locally on the radio at 790AM The Ticket.
