ITHACA -- Coming off two extreme performances in Florida, the Cornell men's hockey team will try to put together solid games at both ends of the ice this weekend when it concludes the non-conference portion of its schedule with a two-game set at nationally-ranked Colorado College.

Friday night's game, on the Olympic-sized ice at World Arena, will begin at 9:37 p.m. Eastern time, while Saturday's will face off at 9:07 p.m.

The 13th-ranked Big Red (8-4-1) equaled its worst defensive showing of the season last Thursday in suburban Fort Myers, with a 5-2 loss to Massachusetts in the first round of the Florida College Hockey Classic. But CU followed that the next day with its best offensive performance in nearly two months in a 5-3 victory over Clarkson.
