Scrivens Returns to Maple Leafs
Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Thursday that the hockey club has recalled former Cornell goaltender Ben Scrivens on emergency conditions from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
Scrivens, 25, has appeared in five games with the Marlies this season, posting a 4-1-0 record with a 2.41 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. The native of Spruce Grove, Alberta played in two preseason games with the Maple Leafs in 2011-12, recording a record of 2-0-0 with a 0.95 goals against average and a .958 save percentage.
