Today's newbie? Byron Bitz.
Welcome to the show: After a standout four-year career at Cornell, Bitz was taken by Boston in the the fourth round (107 overall) of the 2003 Entry Draft. He spent a season-and-a-half with Providence of the AHL before making the jump to the bigs in 2008-09, registering 4G-3A-7PTS in 35 games with the Bruins. His most memorable moment in a Boston uniform came late in a 6-1 laugher over Florida when the Garden faithful started a "WE WANT BITZ!" chant as he tried to bag his first NHL hat trick:
