Nicholls Doesn't Let Epilepsy Ice his Hockey Career

ITHACA -- Before fans are admitted into Lynah Rink for Cornell men's hockey games, senior forward Dan Nicholls leads the team on a short single-file run to the northeast corner of the concourse and back to the locker room.
Last Friday was no different, with Nicholls and his teammates filling the nearly empty arena with light-hearted hollers, gathering energy for the game.
But minutes later, a routine night at the rink yielded to a sense of urgency as Nicholls suffered a seizure in the locker room.
