Doing Dirty Work has Cornell on a Roll

The following article appeared in the November 17 issue of the Ithaca Journal.

ITHACA -- For the record, John Esposito is OK.

And why wouldn't he be, you may be asking? Well, the junior left wing for the Cornell men's hockey team "took one for the team" last Saturday at Dartmouth, getting down on the ice to block a shot, something head coach Mike Schafer has been trying to get his club to do more of.

Esposito practiced Tuesday, and is suffering no ill effects from the episode, five minutes into Saturday's game. Incredible ... given where the puck hit him.
