Romano Showing Improvement

SHELTON -- There have been flashes here and there -- nice work on the boards to set up a goal, good defensive work on the penalty kill.
Tony Romano is getting a chance to play more for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Call-ups to other players have helped move him a bit up the depth chart. To keep moving, he'll need to take those flashes and make them more regular.
"Especially last weekend, there were a ton of chances we had as a line," Romano said. "On the power play in Wilkes-Barre. It feels really good. There's a lot of hard work I've been trying to put in."
