Garman Concludes Time with Big Red

ITHACA -- One of the biggest questions surrounding the Cornell men's hockey team going into the 2011-12 season figured to be whether or not it would continue to use a goalie platoon of Mike Garman and Andy Iles.
The Big Red got the answer a little sooner than expected when Garman informed the team that he plans to graduate this spring, a year ahead of schedule.
Garman told the coaching staff of his decision after the season ended, coach Mike Schafer said, catching the program by surprise.
