Cornell Begins Best-of-3 Against Quinnipiac

ITHACA -- Bye-bye, bye. Now it's time to see if that week off for the Cornell men's hockey team pays dividends.
The rested Big Red will get off its cushy seat on the sidelines of the ECAC Hockey playoffs to host Quinnipiac this weekend in a best-of-three quarterfinal series, and deductions made from evaluating recent practices suggest the break has helped.
"It makes a big difference," Big Red coach Mike Schafer said. "It's not just about injuries, but it's also that little mental break and a little chance physically to regroup that makes a big difference."
