Scrivens Takes to Road Again, Reports to Marlies

Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced that the hockey club has re-assigned former Cornell goaltender Ben Scrivens to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League from the Reading Royals of the ECHL.

Scrivens, a first-year pro from Spruce Grove, Alberta, was assigned to Reading February 4. In 13 games with Reading, Scrivens has compiled a 10-3-0-0 record with a 2.23 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage. In 13 games with the Marlies this year, Scrivens has gone 5-2-3 with a 2.25 gaa, .927 save percentage and one shutout.
