Ailing Big Red Tweaking the Defense

ITHACA -- The weeks between the annual Florida College Classic in late December and when Cornell classes start in mid-January are usually an intense in-season training camp for the men's hockey team.
The dwindling health of the Big Red -- particularly the team's stable of defensemen -- has altered that plan a little bit in 2011.
Cornell will be three players lighter than it was a week ago, with defensemen Sean Whitney and Jarred Seymour sidelined alongside John Esposito, the team's hottest forward.
