Scrivens Returns to Reading
READING, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that former Cornell goaltender Ben Scrivens has been assigned by the Maple Leafs from the Marlies to the Royals.
For Scrivens, a first-year pro from Spruce Grove, Alberta, this marks his fourth stint with the Royals this season. In 11 games with Reading, Scrivens has compiled a 8-3-0-0 record with a 2.18 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage. In 13 games with the Marlies this year, Scrivens has gone 5-2-3 with a 2.25 gaa, .927 save percentage and one shutout.
