Ottawa Recalls Greening
TTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled
former Cornell forward Colin Greening from the
club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton
Senators.
Greening, 24, is being recalled to Ottawa for the third time this
season. The St. John’s, N.L., native recorded his first
NHL point, an assist, in Ottawa’s 5-1 win over the Florida
Panthers on Feb. 23. He has two points in six games with the
Senators and 36 points (13 goals, 23 assists) in 54 games with the
B-Sens this season.
Greening was re-assigned Sunday to play in the B-Sens' 5-2 loss to the Adirondack Phantoms, but had spent the previous 10 days on recall to Ottawa.
