Fitting Foe Awaits Cornell in Opener

ITHACA -- When the Cornell men's hockey team begins its season tonight with perhaps the most appropriate opponent -- New Hampshire.
In the Wildcats, the Big Red will get a glimpse of both the best and worst of its 2009-10 season -- a 5-2 victory in January at New Hampshire, and then a 6-2 loss in the first round of the NCAA tournament two months later.
Of course, the biggest players in both of those games are long gone. But the memories still linger.
