Cornell Offense Can't be Overlooked

ALBANY, N.Y. - Like a good Ivy Leaguer, Cornell goalie Ben Scrivens made every effort to be diplomatic in his remarks, heaping praise not only on the University of New Hampshire, but on all of Hockey East, as he discussed tonight's NCAA Tournament tilt between his Big Red and the Wildcats.

"The difference between the ECAC and the bigger conferences - like the Hockey East, CCHA and WCHA," he began, "is we don't have the ability to recruit the athletes, the top-end offensive players."

But before he could even get the next sentence out of his mouth, he did something he hasn't done in his last 230 minutes on the ice. He let his guard down. Then he disputed his own suggestion
