ITHACA -- Ask about his team's lineup in the preseason, and you get the same answer from Cornell hockey coach Mike Schafer.
"The best 12 forwards and the best six
defensemen will play," Schafer would recite.
But that hasn't been the case in Cornell's past nine games. Rather, the best seven defensemen and 11 forwards have played.
