Las Vegas Acquires Gallagher
The Elmira Jackals announced Friday that they have traded former Cornell forward Blake Gallagher to the Las Vegas Wranglers in exchange for financial considerations.
Gallagher since a contract with Elmira October 16, but did not appear in the Jackals' first two regular-season contests. He originally signed a tryout agreement entering Elmira's training camp. The rookie from Cole Harbor, Nova Scotia led Cornell in 2009-2010 with 18 goals and 37 points and had an assist in Elmira's preseason game against Reading on Oct. 7.
