Drouin Nets IHL Monthly Award
FORT WAYNE, IN - The International Hockey League announced Tuesday that Fort Wayne's P.C. Drouin, a former Cornell standout, was named the Meijer IHL Player of the Month for April, 2010.
Drouin, 35, scored five goals and led the Komets with 10 assists, 15 points and a plus-9. The left winger had points in seven of 10 games played and registered six multi-point games while setting a team season-high six-game assist-scoring streak during the month.
The 14-year veteran followed a career high 66 assists and 98 points last season with his second best career year this season scoring 56 assists and 82 points appearing in all 76 games.
2009-10 is Drouin's fifth season with Fort Wayne. The St.

Turner Cup Championship with Komets when the first round
best-of-seven series against the Port Huron Icehawks opens Thursday
at 7:30pm at the War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.
