Cornell Still Under Development

ITHACA -- Putting aside a still-modest record, this young Cornell men's hockey team has made some obvious strides in recent weeks.

The penalty killing has been extremely good, defensemen are contributing to the offense while solidifying play in their own zone, and the goaltenders have shown marked improvement since ECAC Hockey play began.

"I think we've obviously made progress," junior defenseman Sean Whitney said. "With any young team, it's going to take a while. We're real close. ... It's really just a matter of sticking to the game plan. We have the personnel."
