ALBANY — Cornell hockey players are expected to win, to at
least contend for an ECAC Hockey championship title and Big Red
realize that even before they arrive in Ithaca. Cornell fans
don’t want a trend to begin with two consecutive classes
graduating without a league title.
“It’s come up a little bit, we’re here to change
that,” said team captain Colin Greening, “but at the
same time, you don’t want to dwell on it.”
“It certainly does,” Greening said when asked if
he’s motivated by CU’s four-year title drought.
“That’s part of a Cornell tradition, to be part of an
ECAC-winning team.”
