Confident O'Byrne Better Prepared

As Canadiens defenceman Ryan O'Byrne prepares for what could be a pivotal season in his National Hockey League career, he said his goal is to "consistently confident."

A lack of confidence has hampered the 26-year-old O'Byrne's development, but he feels he's better prepared as he enters his fourth season in the NHL.

"Being a young defenceman in this league is tough," O'Byrne said after going through fitness testing before the start of on-ice workouts at the Canadiens' training camp today in Brossard.
