Murray Takes Step Back in Recovery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Douglas Murray's recovery from an unspecified lower body injury appeared to take a small step backward Wednesday when he skipped the morning skate after going out on the ice the previous day.
"It's not a good sign," he said, "but it definitely feels better today with the off-ice workouts."
Following team instructions, Murray did not disclose the injury, but did say he's not even sure what caused the problem during San Jose's 2-1 overtime victory over Chicago on Saturday night.
