Marlies Send for Scrivens

TORONTO -- Dave Nonis, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has recalled former Cornell goaltender Ben Scrivens from their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals.

Scrivens, 22, has appeared in seven games with the Royals, posting a record of 4-3-0 with a 2.46 goals against average and 0.931 save percentage. Scrivens ranks fourth in the ECHL in save percentage and ninth in goals against average. The Spruce Grove, Alberta native collected his first career ECHL victory on October 16, making 31 stops in the Royals' 6-5 victory over the Trenton Devils.
