Cornell at Crossroads

ITHACA -- Tuesday night is a test of Cornell's elasticity.
Just three days removed from its most gut-wrenching defeat of the
season, the Big Red is back in action at Colgate. The question is
will the Big Red snap back like a rubber band and sting with
sharpness, or is this where the rubber band breaks?
After its 2-1 loss to Yale on Saturday, the Big Red has little
margin for error in terms of securing an at-large bid to the NCAA
Tournament. An automatic bid would require beating Yale, something
Cornell hasn't done in its last six tries (0-5-1).
