Riley Nash found the Canes' prospect conditioning camp both demanding and interesting.
After all, the center has twice attended the Edmonton Oilers' prospects camp after being drafted by the Oilers in the first round and the 21st overall pick of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He saw the way the Edmonton staff did things. Now, he has seen another way of doing it.
"It's a totally different experience," Nash said today. "For me, not knowing the staff here, it was like an introduction to the whole organization.
