Sawada Returns to AHL
FRISCO, Tex. – The Dallas Stars announced today that the
club has assigned right wing Ray Sawada, a former Cornell standout,
to the Texas Stars – Dallas’ primary development
affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Sawada, 24, has played in five games for Dallas this season, going
scoreless. Dallas’ second round pick (52nd overall) in the
2004 NHL Entry Draft, he has appeared in 36 games with Texas this
season, scoring three goals and six assists.
