Scrivens Returns to Reading

READING, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that former Cornell goaltender Ben Scrivens has been re-assigned to the Royals from the Marlies.

Scrivens had been recalled by the Marlies from Reading on Thursday. He served as a back-up in Toronto’s 3-2 shootout loss to the Houston Aeros last night.  In five games with the Royals, Scrivens has compiled a 2-3-0-0 record with a 2.85 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.
