When Friends Become Enemies

Douglas Murray, the burly Sharks defenseman who specializes in bone-rattling hits, is playing for Sweden in an Olympic hockey game. He spies Joe Thornton, a Sharks teammate, skating down the ice with the puck for Canada.

What does Murray do?

"I'm going to run him over," Murray said without hesitation. "At that point in time, I'm a team member of Sweden and he's a team member of Canada. You have to block everything else out."
