Greening Finalist for 2010 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award
ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell senior Colin Greening (St. John's,
Newfoundland) has been selected as one of 10 finalists for the 2010
Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which recognizes the top senior
scholar-athlete in college hockey. Fans can now vote for Greening
at www.seniorCLASSaward.com
through March 16.
An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in
SchoolTM, the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award focuses on the
total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform
in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their
communities. The finalists were chosen by a media committee from
the list of 20 candidates who were announced in October.
Nationwide balloting begins immediately to determine the winner.
Lowe's, an official Corporate Partner of the NCAA, will announce
the Senior CLASS AwardTM winner in April at the NCAA
Men's Frozen Four® in Detroit, Michigan.
Greening is one of two nominees from ECAC Hockey, joining
Jean-Marc Beaudoin of Quinnipiac among the final 10.
