ITHACA -- First place has not been kind to those atop the ECAC Hockey standings this season.

First there was Quinnipiac, which opened 12-1. Since then, the Bobcats are 1-10-2. Most recently it was Union, whose reign was short-lived. The Dutchmen are in the midst of a four-game winless skid and are in a three-way tie for second place.

As the ECACH's new leader, Cornell hopes to break the pattern. And for the second time in as many weekends, the fifth-ranked Big Red is expected to be without junior forward Riley Nash.
