LeNeveu Leading the Way

SPRINGFIELD – Although the Springfield Falcons have three goaltenders on their roster, they’ll continue to go with David LeNeveu as their starter until the schedule gets heavier.
It’s fairly light for them this week – a morning game at Bridgeport on Wednesday and a Friday home game against Syracuse at the MassMutual Center.
Later in the month, the schedule calls for 11 games in 19 days, six of them at home. During that run, coach Rob Riley likely will call upon Dan Taylor and Gustaf Wesslau to carry some of the load. Wesslau is ready for active duty after a long rehab from a knee injury.
