ITHACA -- For its first test of the season, the Cornell men's
hockey team gets a win-starved and battle-tested Niagara team on
Friday night at Lynah Rink.
The sixth-ranked Big Red, one year removed from a second-place
finish in ECAC Hockey and a berth in the NCAA quarterfinals, hosts
Niagara (0-3-1) at 7 p.m.
Niagara, although winless, battled back at No. 5 Michigan after
falling behind by three goals, blew three-goal leads against ECAC
foes St. Lawrence and Colgate, and lost on an overtime goal to
Clarkson.
