Deal to Islanders a Thrill for Romano

SHELTON -- Tony Romano knew he was getting traded. He even knew
where he was going. When the deal finally happened, it wasn't a
surprise.
Romano is a Long Islander, born and raised. New Jersey drafted him
out of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League three years ago, but at
the end of June, the Devils traded him to the New York
Islanders.
It wasn't a surprise. It was only a thrill.
