Improving Power Play Gives Cornell an Edge

ITHACA — The scene following Game 1 of last season's ECAC
Hockey Championship quarterfinal at Union's Messa Rink was
understandably tense.
A stupid penalty by senior Josh Coyle left the Dutchmen
short-handed in the late stages of a tie game and eventually led to
Brendon Nash's game-winner.
"Unacceptable penalty," Union coach Nate Leaman said at the time.
"The No. 1 thing on our scouting report: They live on their power
play."
