2008-09 Player Rewind: Mark McCutcheon
The following article featuring former Cornell forward Mark McCutcheon appeared July 23 on the Lake Erie Monsters Web site.
After spending the first nine games of the season with Lake
Erie’s ECHL affiliate, the Johnstown Chiefs, scrappy forward
Mark McCutcheon played the remaining 65 games of the season with
the Monsters.
Known for his hustle, physical play and overall toughness,
McCutcheon also chipped in 17 points (6G, 11A) to go along with 70
penalty minutes in his second season as a professional. An Ivy
League graduate of Cornell University, McCutcheon hails from
Ithaca, New York, and was Colorado’s fifth round selection
(146th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
