Sawada Eager to Seize Opportunity with Dallas Stars

Ray Sawada knows hockey can be fickle.
So, when winger Chris Conner was called away Wednesday to be with
his pregnant wife, Sawada was given an opportunity he probably
would not have otherwise received. But what's the old saying about
preparation meeting opportunity?
"I know that's why I am here – Chris' wife having a baby
– and I just want to take full advantage of the opportunity
and show them what I can do out there," Sawada said. "I just hope I
keep on playing this way, and stick around for a while."
