DALLAS — Douglas Murray has an odd way of defining a job
well done.
"Corey Perry punching me in the face, that's a good thing for me,"
the burly Sharks defenseman says of the talented and tough Anaheim
Ducks right wing who took exception to being leveled in San Jose's
most recent game. "I want him to think about me, and not
scoring."
A lot of top opponents have been thinking about Murray lately, as
he seems to be on a mission to deliver as many punishing hits as
possible. Just ask Calgary's Jarome Iginla, who was flattened by
Murray earlier this month.
